The Garden State

We had a wonderful weekend in New Jersey with some of Barrett's family. To say his cousin has a large yard would be an understatement. Lots of room to run and play and lots of great company. We had a fabulous time.

Anna and Kate hitchin' a ride from their man Ian in the Gator
(or, as Kate called it, the "Vader")

The highlight of the trip for Anna was learning how to pump on
the swings all by herself. (This was up there on mom's list too).

Barrett and Justin entertained the kiddos with a game of football.

Barrett going after someone his own size ;o)

And Luke just got to spend time sharing sugars with grandma.

We're looking forward to another reunion!

You just gotta LOVE tha last photo! Well done.

And that doesn't look like a yard. It looks like an estate.

That last shot is an heirloom peice for sure. We love our Grandmas. Her hands are beautiful.
What a fun day. I could almost smell the grass and the outdoors. I had to click to enlarge that pic of Barrett going full on with his hat backwards and mouth agape. Riley got a kick out of that, too!

And that pic with Ian the the girls, oh my gosh, cutie pies!!!

Love you girl

How did you do the swing shots? What were you focused on?
Beautiful pics Nicole! I wish we were closer so you could give me some tips!
Do you use Photo shop on them?

I still remember the day I learned to pump on the swings by myself; my grandpa taught me. He was not known for his patience, so I remember being surprised at how kind he was and how intent he was on my learning this skill. Now, as a mom, I totally get it! Great photo of Anna on the swings--we miss your family!
