Anna Banana

SIX!?  I don't know how she's survived us this long.  Really, it was only yesterday she was being placed in my arms, all bundled up with shiny, blinking eyes.  What a pleasure it's been to see her grow into the sweet, imaginative girl she is now.

Today she was skipping down the sidewalk telling me all about her grand plans to open a dress store someday.  She would make the dresses...oh...and jewelry to match.  Climbing into the car she turned and said, "Mom, you'll have your own special door to come into my store.  And everything for you is free."

Oh, how I love her.  Life these last 2,222 days have been great because she's been in them.

Six. Wow, I remember when my oldest turned six. Really, it was only yesterday :o) And now she just turned twenty last week. Just wait until you've spent 7305 days with Anna in your life. Treasure each and every one of them!

p.s. Will there be a special door at the dress shop for her mom's sister's friend?? I'm hoping!)

P.S. I've run across this blog where the lady makes tons and tons of adorable little girl dresses. I'll bet Anna would get a kick out of looking at it. It's www.grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com

And your own door, too? That's so cool! Anna, could I at least get the friend discount?

So sweet! She is just precious and looks like her beautiful mama. I just saw your little man's post too...wow, what a heartbreaker! That is really funny that Anna wants to design dresses and sew them too b/c Allie just told me that same thing this week! She started her sketchbook, LOL. I'll have to see if she'll let me have a special door ;)!

Could I just borrow her for a few days? My girls need a little more sweetness and I think she would do just the trick. What a great imagination and I love how you captured her personality in a few sweet words.
