I'll cite three proofs, all courtesy of my sweet children:
1. Today Anna was looking at my six-months-pregnant belly and said "Whoa! Mom, your tummy is getting big! It's almost as big as your bottom!"
2. This evening as I was getting the girls out of the bathtub Kate was lying on her tummy in the water pretending to be an alligator. I was drying Anna off and she looked down at Kate and started giggling. The rest went something like this: "Kate, I hope you always have a little bum, it's so cute!" To which Kate turned and scowled at Anna and said "No! I'm going to have a big bum like mama!"
3. And the one I'll never forget. I was sympathizing with Anna one day as she received yet another comment about her absence of a rear end (the poor thing can't keep her pants up to save her life). I told her that when I was little people would tell me I didn't have a bum either. Without missing a beat she replied, "yeah, but you grew a big one!"
Sorry, no pictures to go with this post.

classic...love the comments, don't our kids always have such a tactful way of telling it like it really is? Kali also has no bottom and we can only buy pants with the adjustable waist or they'll fall off her...love it
oh PLEASE add pictures to this one!
I can't imagine you have a big anything, you tiny thing you! I've never even seen you pregnant. Please post a pic!!!
I get comments like that from Jillian too. I am trying to teach her it's not nice to point out the way someone looks because they can't help it (really short, overweight, skin color, etc.) or they may really like being different (like the girl with pink hair or the guy with an earring, etc.) and you don't want to make them feel bad. That goes for talking about my bum as well! :)
Do you need me to come get a stellar professional portrait? :) Too funny!
Ahhh...the perks of being pregnant. Aren't kids the greatest?! You have two cute girls Nicole. Are you ready for a boy?
so funny. *love* the things these little ones say. :)
Your girls must not get out much if they think your bottom is big.
I think every pregnant girl has the "growing bottom" problem. I think it is natures way of keeping us from getting too front heavy when we are pregnant.
Thanks for the laugh! Also, I adore your Hello Kitty cupcakes!
By the way, I have decided to be a real blogger, so you can check ours out sometime. moontimes.blogspot.com
Nicole you have a tiny little bottom so your girls must have crazy, big imaginations! They are too funny!
