I'm pretty sure the cable went out with the trash. It's an educated guess based on my experience folding laundry the other day. I heard the phone ring and walked out to get it. But I couldn't hear it ringing anymore. So I went back in to finish the laundry and heard it ringing again. With some smelly detective work I found it buried in the trash. See, one day I told Luke to take a wrapper and "put it in the trash." He did. And of course I was really amused that he understood what I was talking about. Apparently positive reinforcement can work negatively and now I'm left wondering what else has gone out with the trash.
Anyway, now that I've made a short story long...I'll be back to regularly scheduled posting as soon as I buy a new cable.

I am so glad to hear that you will be back on-line. I have missed you - and your beautiful pictures!!!!
By the way: Camille has joined the 21st century and has joined the blogging world! You can check us out at www.keepingupwiththeoremjoneses.wordpress.com (we were trying to find a longer address - but that's the best we could do).
Lots of love!

THAT. STORY. IS. AWESOME. ;oD I have found a few things in our trash over the years that were put there by little hands. I can't let myself think about what went out that I DIDN'T find!
That's how Jon lost his wedding band. We think Evey flushed it down the toilet. She likes makes things "spin"
love it when they get "helpful" with the trash. i think we've mostly lost socks that way. :)
yes Chars is a dumpster diver too. we have found the remote control and many sippy's in the trash. not sure what has gotten past us! I hate that my trash can always sits on the counter...it looks horrible...but the only way to keep from digging stuff out! ;)
There have been sippies, can openers and many other things thrown out in the trash at our house! So funny that you discovered your phone in there because I'm sure that's where my phone is as well! Just be glad you found it before it was too late. Our phone has been "missing" for about a month now!
Just don't show him how to do the laundry. That's where our phone went missing one day. The sad thing is, I'm not sure if it was one of the kids or me who put it there. Amazingly, a phone can handle a good washing, rinse and spin and still partially function.
We have like 3 extra USB's laying around! Why don't you live in Arizona?!
I can't believe that Luke is old enough to throw stuff away! Time flies. It seems like he was just born yesterday... I'm excited to see your pictures, when you get a new USB cable. I love your pictures.
Just wait till he gets to be my boy's age. You won't be able to get him to put anything in the trash!! Ha!
You take the most amazing pictures!!!!
