Kate waiting very patiently for her egg to be ready.

Not so patient anymore.

And there it is! (The white decoration is her own doing)

Back in the day, my very talented sister Lynette showed me how to
make a rainbow egg. Ever since then, it's the only trick up my sleeve
come egg-dying time. Anna was amused. That's all that counts.
Happy Easter!

What a cute entry. I just barely realized how much I have to do to prepare for Easter! Yipe!!
i'd better get busy w/ our egg decorating. i usually think we'll have plenty of time to do it, then we end up doing it the evening before easter. (last minute) one thing that's hard w/ my kids, it takes me a while to get everything set up, and about 10 minutes to decorate the eggs. they breeze through them and i have bunch of stuff to clean up. oh so fun. :) really they do enjoy it, and i like the actual egg dying . . . so i shouldn't complain. :)
love your rainbow egg.
So I'd almost forgotten about the rainbow trick now that my kids are old enough to do the dying themselves! Looks eggsactly like I used to do it. No pun intended.
Great looking eggs! (Lynette's endless talents NEVER cease to amaze me!) And that is so smart to dye them early in the week instead of Saturday night when WE usually do it and the kids are all grumpy and tired. Oh wait, actually it's ME who's grumpy and tired :)
BTW - We're booked for Williamsburg - we can hardly wait!
I'm amused too...I probably spent way too much time figuring out how I can make a rainbow egg too! Your girls are so cute. I think your little girl looks just like Barret, but I see a lot of you in your older one. The expression on your little boys face totally reminds me of you! Good genes.
is it easter already?
That is the best egg ever. I love it. You should be proud!
I've been looking at that rainbow egg now for a few minutes trying to figure out how you did that...hmmmm.
