We went. We picked pumpkins. We took pictures. And then I hurried home so Luke could have a good nap.

Kate's teacher asked which pumpkin would be a good "class pumpkin."
Of course, she went for the biggest.

When I found myself in a predicament out in the field with a large pumpkin and Luke in a stroller I sent the girls off to get a wagon. And I must confess seeing Anna running toward me with Kate in tow was pretty darn cute.
Until next year!

I had to laugh at your comment on blog protocol. It's true. Just about everyone I know has posted a pumpkin patch outing.
Cute photos!
I wish we had more pumpkin patches here. It's just too darn hot still. Walmart will have to do. I'll be waiting the "pumpkin carving" post next!
It's SO true! I have MY pumpkin patch photos ready to post. Got to keep up with the Joneses!
Looks like your kids were in pumpkin heaven :o) Isn't this a great time of year?!
So glad you followed protocol. Darling (as always) pictures. I especially love the Devil Luke header.
Reading your blog is like reading a magazine. Honestly Nicole, your pics are professional quality.
And, miss you, love you! So good to see your face!
And, yes I am honored that we're bonded through our pain!! Grateful am I for our runs and early morning weight lifting way back when. Wish I could have that back again!
Dude, next year, I MUST go to a real pumpkin patch. I got mine at Wal-Mart (one-stop shopping), and they were those awful, spaghetti-inside kinds. You know what I'm saying? Impossible to carve. And one was petrified. I could not pierce the skin. Seriously. Never again.
yes, i think you're right. and though i live in AZ where they don't REALLY exist...they kind of exist and i STILL missed the boat. oh darn!
Hi Nicole,
Matt & I were just thinking of you guys tonight, wondering when the big move to DC is. Drop us a line when you can, we'd love to hear from you. erin.talbot@gmail.com
