After My Own Heart

I think it would be an understatement to say I love bubble baths. I could stay in the tub for hours, especially with a good magazine. It seems I've passed this love on to Miss Kate. She'll ask to "take a bathtub" at the oddest times of the day. And I'm more than happy to oblige. I've learned that when children take baths, the rest of the house stays clean! It's worth a little water on the floor in my opinion.
Kate will lay back with her ears under the water and sing
her little heart out. Anna says that when she lays like this,
her hair looks like Syndrome (from The Incredibles).

When Kate saw this picture on the computer she said,
"That doesn't look like Syndrome." So I asked her who it
looked like and without hesitation she said,
"That looks like Cindewella's Stepmudda."
I think I agree.

The only downside to baths.....pruney fingers and toes.

don't love the pruney fingers and toes, but some things are worth the downside. :)

Nicole, You are inspiring! I love checking out your blog. Your kids are so fun and adorable! Someday I'll have to start my own blog. My favorite was you little tips on staying under control. I love the cake thought- although mine is cookie dough sometimes! We miss you guys.

Such cute pictures! I would love to be able to sit in the bathtub for hours:) As for the look alikes, syndrome in the first picture, evil "stepmudda" in the second.

Your photography is stunning. Would you mind emailing me (just surfed in!) to let me know what sort of camera you own? I'm guessing DSLR...but we're in the market, and (other than the fact that I doubt I have your sense of artistry) I'm hoping to be able to take photos with that sort of beauty and clarity. Thanks!
